TREE TALK
Open Space at Camp Truetimber (4050 Transport Pl.)
Grades K-6
June 9-13, 9am - Noon
Get ready for a week of wild exploration, creativity, and adventure in the great outdoors! TREE TALK is a nature-packed summer camp where K-6 learners hike through 40 acres of lush forest along Grindell Creek at Camp Truetimber, discovering the secret world of trees.
Each day, campers become nature detectives, learning to identify trees by their leaves, bark, and even their smell! They’ll stretch and move like the tallest oaks and the bendiest willows. They’ll create art from nature, making paint from crushed leaves, designing tree-inspired sculptures, and even crafting their own nature journals.
Held on the grounds of Camp Truetimber on the Southside of Richmond, 4050 Transport Pl.
